LATEST PROPERTY AUCTION
Our latest Property Auction held at The Moat House Hotel, Festival Park, Stoke on Trent on Monday September 8th provided mixed results but with far more positives than negatives.
To start with the room was packed full with hundreds of attendees, television cameras from the BBC’s Homes under the Hammer and reporters from BBC Radio Stoke.
Eleven properties were SOLD prior to the auction and four were withdrawn which left 57 properties to go under the hammer
All eight properties in the Telford area offered on behalf of the Wrekin Housing Trust were sold but the Star Lot was Lot 15 an area of woodland extending to approximately 15.85 acres which was eventually knocked down at £128,000 after some very fierce bidding. The eventual buyer was from the London area.
A property in Tettenhall, near Wolverhampton was sold for £90,500 after some very competitive bidding between a telephone bidder and someone in the room who eventually ended up being the successful purchaser.
